(mao and) i decorated our christmas tree last week.
although i prefer real trees over the plastic ones, it felt like the right choice to make since the cats prefer to destroy it anyway. i don't mind, it's fun to see mao acting silly with the decoration!
(lately, gaarne is really really sweet. she just sniffs the decorations & sleeps most of the time. she even slept on my lap!)
meanwhile i listened to the she & him christmas album, perfect soundtrack for putting up decorations if you ask me!
today, i finally finished our wedding invitations. i'm pretty happy with the result but i'm sure i'll keep wanting to change things...
the 6th of december we celebrate sinterklaas in belgium (and also in holland). sinterklaas is like santa, and brings presents and candy to sweet kids.
jonathan and i like to give each other little presents, just for fun.
i bought him new slippers, a chocolate egg and a surprise playmobil pack.
i must admit he knows me too well. ponies, princesses, ... i'm a little child when it comes to cute toys.
i don't really like christmas songs (i prefer listening to julie london, sinatra and billie holiday during the christmas season) but you just can't ignore this song, can you:
